“Earnestness is a   common trait   among translators.”

An unnecessary woman

About me

After dedicating more than 20 years to writing, correcting and translating texts, I can say that I am a translator out of conviction and vocation.

Translation

I currently work translating literature, whether for adults, teenagers or young children. I also enjoy working on news stories, current affairs, international relations, and the cultural identities of places around the world.  When I have a book or a text in my hands I put myself in the writer's skin and try to transmit something special to the person who is going to read it. Below you can find a sample of my work.

Languages

I do translations from:

English

French

Portuguese

to:

Attractive painter Edward Radcliffe and his artist friends move into the Birchwood Manor mansion. It is the summer of 1862 and the experience is unique, a pity that in the end a death and a disappearance upset the calm of this corner located on the banks of the river Thames.

Rosa dels Vents, 2018

Seventies in the so-called Satellite City  of Cornellà de Llobregat. Toni Hill  manages to make an unbeatable portrait of immigration and education of the moment on the outskirts of Barcelona, without ceasing to offer us a new work of suspense. What price are we willing to pay for not betraying a friendship?
